Ralph Mclean Microgrants
LGBTIQ? Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander? Culturally diverse? Deaf or have a disability? From 2016, two microgrants of $1250 each will be offered to enable new artists from diverse backgrounds to present their first ever Melbourne Fringe work.
Ralph Mclean (1957-2010) was Chair of Melbourne Fringe from 1986 - 1991 and a member of our Board until 1998. Ralph Mclean’s passion was celebrating diversity and art in all its forms. Melbourne Fringe is proud to continue his legacy with Melbourne Fringe through this new grant initiative.

Artists with disability, artists with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander or Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds and artists who identify as LGBTIQ are strongly encouraged to apply.
